Hello all, now feels as good a time as ever to knock down the belief that conversational marketing is synonymous with live chat. While conversational marketing definitely includes the live chat aspect, it cannot be reduced to this one tool. Conversational marketing is so much bigger than that!

So, what is conversational marketing then?

It’s almost exactly what it sounds like – having conversations with customers in their time on their preferred platform. I know, this seems so customer-centric, which is a good thing!!!

Conversational marketing allows you to create custom experiences for your prospects and leads. How? It’s by having conversations in the customer’s time. It’s by not leaving them on “read” or making them wait days upon days to get back to them. Your customers expect and deserve decent customer service… so give it to them! This means that data is collected throughout conversations with customers so they will not have to give you their account number or issue or qualifying questions each time they interact with your company.

PRO TIP: This is where having your data stored in your Salesforce CRM makes your business operations run waaay smoother.

Make it easy for your customers to do business with you and ensure that every interaction a customer has with your company is an enjoyable one. Show your customers that they matter to you and increase your customer lifetime value at the same time!
